These terms govern your use of No Overall Control ("the site"), a turn-based strategy game about a fictional city council election. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The game is fiction

No Overall Control is a work of fiction. The parties, districts, politicians, and events in the game are invented. Nothing in the game is a real political position, real news, or real advice. Games are played purely for entertainment and involve no money, prizes, or other real-world stakes.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe.
• One person per account: do not create accounts to bypass a ban or to impersonate someone.
• You may use the site without an account as a guest; guest games are tied to your browser, not to an account.

3. Acceptable use

When you use the site you agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or abuse other players,
• choose party names or usernames that are offensive or impersonate real people or parties,
• attempt to break, probe, or overload the site's systems, or access data you are not meant to see,
• exploit bugs for an unfair advantage; report them instead,
• use bots, scripts, or automated tools to play or to create accounts.

We moderate names and content. We may change or remove a name, or suspend an account, if it breaks these rules. We aim to be reasonable and to warn before banning.

4. Availability

The site is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, that games will never be lost, or that there are no bugs. Games, accounts, and results may be removed during maintenance or if they violate these terms.

5. Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or your inability to use it.

6. Termination

You can stop using the site at any time and delete your account from the Profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, especially the acceptable use rules in section 3.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
